Exciting news just hit our inbox as it was announced that three time Academy Award nominee and Golden Globe winner Sigourney Weaver ( Ghostbusters, Alien, Aliens ) has joined the cast of writer/director Amy Heckerlings ( Fast Times at Ridgemont High, Clueless ) new feature film Vamps . Weaver, who will play the role of Ciccerus, a bloodthirsty stem vampire who has created a dynasty, will be joining Alicia Silverstone and Krysten Ritter who are already on board as two young vampires she turned into creatures of the night.
