I’ve got a fantastic treat for fans of Bram Stoker’s Dracula – a stunning Dracula Family Signet Ring! Now, I don’t usually cover news like this, but the ring is so beautiful I couldn’t pass it up. The moment I saw it I had a very Gollum-like moment whispering “my precious” to my computer screen. Bram Stoker’s Death Ship

A long while back I wrote about The Last Voyage of the Demeter , an upcoming film which tells the dark and bloodied tale of the dreaded ship in Bram Stoker’s Dracula . Since I haven’t heard anything on the project I thought I’d look into it and see if there’s anything new to report, but unfortunately the only bit of new info is that Jude Law has been cast in the movie, that’s it. However, while looking for news I did discover something awesome – a comic! A graphic novel titled Bram Stoker’s Death Ship: The Last Voyage of the Demeter was published last year by IDW and since it has the same exact title and description as the film I think it’s safe to assume the two are connected to one another

Bram Stoker’s Dracula is one of the most popular novels of all time, this ground-breaking and highly influential story has sold millions of copies and has been in print for over a hundred years, which means there are dozens, if not hundreds, of editions of this one book. I’m going to go ahead and assume that director David Slade is crazy in love with vampires since he has filmed two vampire flicks in a row and is now working on a third – ” The Last Voyage of the Demeter .” Slade, who directed the vampire horror ” 30 Days of Night ” and the vampire bore ” Twilight Saga: Eclipse ,” is set to tackle the bloodthirsty genre again with Phoenix Pictures’ ” The Last Voyage of the Demeter ,” a movie that’s been 10 years in the making. Renfield: The Undead Trailer Debut

Director Bob Willems and screenwriter/lead actor Philip Nichols are just a few weeks away from premiering Renfield: The Undead at the Bram Stoker Film Festival , which runs October 14-17 in Whitby, England; and in honor of the occasion, they’re released the first trailer for the film. Along with John W. Stevens as Count Dracula, the cast includes the aforementioned Phil Nichols as Renfield, Julin, Cory Hart, Shelley Boozer, Mel House, Paul Damon, Joe Grisaffi, Tyler Tackett, and Keli Wolfe

Old school vampire movies should never be forgotten, so today we’re taking another trip to the past to check out one of these beloved classics. Today’s movie pick is “ Mark of the Vampire ,” a 1935 Tod Browning film staring the legendary Béla Lugosi, as well as Lionel Barrymore, Elizabeth Allan, Lionel Atwill and Jean Hersholt. “Mark of the Vampire” is actually a remake of Browning’s 1927 silent classic, “ London After Midnight .” This remake was intended to be Browning’s comeback since he hadn’t directed since his 1932 film “ Freaks ” (which was a box-office disaster) and was eager to make another major hit equal to his 1931 “ Dracula .” Now, while many may not have heard of “Mark of the Vampire” most consider it greatly superior to “Dracula” due to its fast pace, greatly improved performances, and its perfectly chilling and macabre mood

Meet Renfield: The Undead’s Count Dracula

It’s taken a couple of years with a few title changes along the way, but the world premiere of director Bob Willems’ Renfield: The Undead is taking place in a few short weeks at the Bram Stoker Film Festival in Whitby, England, which runs October 14-17. In honor of the event at long last we’ve been provided with some images of Count Dracula from the film. The movie’s official website and trailer are launching within the week, but in the meantime here’s our first good look at Count Dracula as portrayed by veteran stage actor John W.
